The God Test

September 5th, 2011

Rice Broocks has developed a great tool to help believers share their faith. It’s a conversation piece called “The God Test”. Perfect for campus ministry, and useful in a variety of settings, Rice gives an explanation of this tool in this brief video clip:

I have personally used this tool to share my faith and found it a great way to start a conversation. It has let to opportunities to share the Gospel with atheists, skeptics, Buddhists and others that I probably never would have met, or known how to approach without a conversation piece like this. I believe in the value of this tool.

To order a bundle of God Tests visit this website, or if you are local and would like to try it out, let me know and I will gladly give you a copy, if you promise to use it. ;)

I have wrestled long and hard with the questions of best-approach and most appropriate timing for sharing the Gospel with someone. Pastor John Piper articulates my own feelings so clearly and helpfully here:

I desperately desire to be a faithful witness of Jesus. He is so amazing, and so worthy of honor, celebration and worship. Through Him alone do we have hope of salvation.
